TL;DR: We do not collect, store, sell, or process any personal data. Audio synthesis is executed completely on your device.
1. Zero Server Processing
MURMURFIELD is delivered as static files. All procedural sound synthesis occurs in your local browser using the Web Audio API. No audio recordings, microphone input, or listening sessions are transmitted to our servers or third parties.
2. Local Storage Only
When you save a favorite sound mix, it is saved exclusively in your browser’s local storage (localStorage). You can clear this anytime by deleting your browser cache or pressing "Delete" on your saved mixes.
3. URL Sharing
When you use the "Share Link" feature, the mix configuration (slider levels and tone) is encoded solely into the URL fragment hash (#...). Hashes are never transmitted across HTTP requests to web servers.
